Minimizing the timeline between concept development and fielding without sacrificing quality.

COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT TO SYSTEM FIELDING AND SUSTAINMENT

By allowing independent operation of personnel and leveraging direct contact to end users, design cycles are reduced allowing for time to be spent on product level testing.

"Our projects generally begin with a user-driven need and the general question "how can we make this thing better." We then whiteboard how we would develop that new thing to ensure it is feasible, but we also have the skillsets (services) to accomplish it. After that, we will work with users to ensure that what we are proposing to develop will provide impact prior to finding a program office to fund the development. During the research and development cycle, we leverage our design and simulation tools to prove out the design by running electrical/thermal/structural /antenna simulations. We then use in-house equipment to prototype the design and begin bench testing to verify the simulations. The final step is developing the manufacturing documentation, operators manuals, etc., as the product starts its transition into product sustainment, where we support field testing and on-site user training." - Jonathan O'Brien
