Advanced Antenna Design

State of the art finite element method software tools allows us to volumetrically optimize antenna structures to maximize performance while monitoring antenna patterns and impedeance matching. For examples, please visit our projects page. 

Circuit Design & Layout

Printed Circuit Design & Layout: We use industry standard schematic capture and PCB layout tools with a built-in design rules engine, integration with mechanical 3D CAD tools, and an internally-managed parts database. All PCB documentation is designed and generated in the tool, ensuring synchronization between the design and the documentation. This greatly increases our productivity and success rate, allowing us to do it right the first time. Check out the RUT on our projects page. 

C/C++/Python/Java/Matlab

Software Design: Our fluency in low-overhead languages such as C and C++, high-level languages such as Java, C#, and Python, and mathematical analysis languages such as Matlab enables us to create all software elements in a system, from the applications on embedded devices to the software implementing the user interfaces on a PC. Maintaining all software design in-house produces a cohesive and quality product and ensures compatibility between the elements. Check out Moonleash on our projects page. 

Thermal & Structural Analysis

Numerical analysis of the strains, stresses, and thermal impacts of a design directly translate to continued reliability and longevity in the field. We leverage industry standard mechanical tools to provide a single platform for modeling and simulation reducing the design cycle. From here we can also conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) studies, develop manufacturing documentation, and provide reports to be used as IFC supporting details. SUAS/UAV Payload Integration

Combining our expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software design with our drive for innovation creates the strong capability to integrate existing and custom components into larger systems to provide new functionality to our customers’ unmanned platforms.

Product Sustainment 

We believe the real impact begins after the research and development stage is over. By continuing to evaluate how products are being used in the field and investing internal resources we are able to ensure the most impactful capabilities are being fielded. We support on-site user training events giving us direct feedback on improving operator manuals. Furthermore, we implement a strict quality system ranging from documentation control to quality inspections ensuring every single item we produce meets our high standards.

PCB Assembly

In-house automated pick-and-place machines yield a true throughput of 5,000 components / hour allowing us to build, test, and deliver hundreds of circuits every day.
